Mount Ama Dablam is a highly beautiful mountain peak in the entire Himalaya region of Nepal. Along with this fact, this particular peak is among the most chosen destination of mountain sports. With as impressive altitude of 6,823 meters, the peak stands along above the sea level that seem like soaring high above the deep blue sky. Most of the tourists who come to Nepal get involved in mountaineering activities in order to make this boring holiday of their an exciting and adventurous one. There is no easy route to the summit of this particular peak. Hence, we need to logically understand that expedition in Ama Dablam is not a child’s play and falls under strenuous kind of grade. Talking about routes to the summit, the south-west ridge of the mountain is the most standard one. Most of the climbers go through this route and find it comparatively easier than any of the other routes.
Mount Ama Dablam Expedition required 3 camps to successfully get to the top. One being the Base Camp, another High Camp and in the similar fashion, making the third one a Low Camp. Day 01: Upon Arrival in Kathmandu Airport [1,338m/4,389ft] you will be warmly welcomed by our crews and you will be transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight in hotel
Day 02: You will be provided an opportunity of sight-seeing in the Kathmandu Valley this particular day. Back to hotel in the evening and stay overnight
Day 03: Today we will conduct official formalities and paperwork. Overnight at hotel
Day 04: We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla [2,848 m/9,344 ft.] and then further trek to Phakding. Camp at the site and stay overnight
Day 05: Today we trek from Phakding [2,631 m/8,632 ft.] to Namche Bazaar [3420m/11,286ft]. Camp at site and stay overnight
Day 06: We consider this day as a rest day at Namche Bazaar. Camp overnight
Day 07: We trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche [3,870m/12,700ft]. Camp at site and stay overnight
Day 08: Trek to Base Camp [4,600m/15,091ft]
Day 09: Base Camp Preparation
Day 10-24: From Day 10 to 24 we divide the phase as climbing period of Ama Dablam. During this period we need to climb the peak
Day 25: Back to Tengboche. Camp at site and stay overnight
Day 26: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar. Camp at site and stay overnight
Day 27: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. Teahouse overnight
Day 28: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and stay overnight
Day 29: Free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing. Stay overnight at hotel
Day 30: Final Departure
I did a half-day Trisuli Rafting trip with this company “Gold Mountain Nepal Treks & Expedition Pvt Ltd” on April-2015 & was very interesting. Round trip transportation from Kathmandu, a meals & guided rafting was managed by Mr Bishnu (MD of the company). The cost which was provided to me was also reasonable. We had a great time in Nepal by Chisapaani-Nagarkot Hiking with “Gold Mountain Nepal Treks”. Unexpectedly the weather was also very clear in mid January. Magnificent views of the Himalayan ranges were seen from the top of Nagarkot Hill. The weather was excellent and it was a bit cold. Our guide was very helpful & friendly. From 20th of December 2014 to 5th of January 2015 we went spent some gorgeous weeks trekking in the Annapurna region. First, we hiked to Poon Hill which rewarded us with a very nice sunrise. Then, we continued our trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Both at the ABC and on the way to and from it, we were blessed with amazing sunsets and sunrises. We even saw monkeys and eagles. Views were spectacular and the weather was great.
The organization of the trek was immaculate. All transfers (Kathmandu airport – Hotel – Pokhara– Kathmandu Hotel – airport) were perfectly organized. In addition, both the guide and porter did a great job. They were very flexible and always agreed when we wanted to change the program. This allowed us to reach the ABC two days earlier than planned and gave us more time to visit additional places when going down. We also paid a visit to hot springs which was very nice. In sum, we recommend Gold Mountain Nepal Treks & Expedition as a reliable trekking agency which is very eager to comply with the customers’ wishes.
