Helambu trek is an impressive trekking route in Langtang Himalaya Region of Nepal. This particular trekking route is suitable for all aged trekkers and is comparatively an easier one. It is best suitable for trekkers who want to explore around the region and is restricted by both of the time and budget.

Helambu trekking provides a unique kind of trekking experience. The trekking trail is all about exploring around the lower regions of Langtang Himalaya region. The viewpoints that this route takes you to offers astounding scenic views. Helambu, which is the prime attraction of the trek is a homeland to Sherpa inhabitants. These ever-smiling and neighborlyfriendly people form a pristine remote village. While trekking to Helambu, you most probably want to get into the lives of these people and gain knowledge about their incomparable combination of cultures and traditions.

This is why the accommodation and food facilities have been developed than ever before. Aside to all these, the trekking route takes you to Tarkejhyang, which is Sherpa community forming a strict kind of preservation. Electricity Crisis Problem in Nepal

It is difficult to told you that Nepal has an electricity problem because Nepal is 2nd richest country in water resource but it is true Nepal still facing the problem. It means there is electricity off for some hours in day and night time. Most of the hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities are possible to have no battery backup. In that case Air condition may not work and, sometimes, TV and other electric utensils may not run. Some hotels have possible to run the TV and AC as well. But, only few of them are lies in this standard category.

So, be organized for this while you are traveling in Nepal.  For that situation, we suggested you to bring the flashlight with extra batteries.

Yes, you can do that but it is not actually required to spend large amount of your money to buy extra equipment and clothing earlier to your trip because most of the trekking equipment can be hired from Trekking shops within Kathmandu. Most of the gear is locally contrived. Some Chinese equipment are possible to be more expensive but qualitative. You can take Sleeping bag and down jacket easily on rent. Each item can be rented for less than USD 1 per day. You have to manage other items buying them yourself. Surely these items are more possible to be cheaper than those in your Country or hometown. Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking-Aug-2015

I would say this for sure is one of the most beautiful experience I've ever had. Bishnu is such a nice, sweet and well organized person. As a solo female traveler, it's quite a bit nasty to made such decision to trek during the raining season especially after massive earthquake. Luckily I stayed at a nice and decent hotel where I almost could made myself at home, and the building, the places and all the stuff I worried about really didn't effected by the earthquake. Thanks again Bishnu for all of your effort, and hopefully I could go ABC next year or 2017. I'll see you then!

Chisapani-Nagarkot Hiking -Jan-2015

Chisapani-Nagarkot Hiking of Jan-2015

We had a great time in Nepal by Chisapaani-Nagarkot Hiking with “Gold Mountain Nepal Treks”. Unexpectedly the weather was also very clear in mid January. Magnificent views of the Himalayan ranges were seen from the top of Nagarkot Hill. The weather was excellent and it was a bit cold. Our guide was very helpful & friendly. We haven’t any complain to the company “Gold Mountain Nepal Treks” & Mr. Bishnu (Director of the company), everything were managed as capably and enjoyed the hiking. We are very satisfied with these services provided by the Company. We give you all an idea to trek in Nepal with “Gold Mountain Nepal Treks” for reasonable prices & standard services.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking - Dec-2014

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

From 20th of December 2014 to 5th of January 2015 we went spent some gorgeous weeks trekking in the Annapurna region. First, we hiked to Poon Hill which rewarded us with a very nice sunrise. Then, we continued our trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Both at the ABC and on the way to and from it, we were blessed with amazing sunsets and sunrises. We even saw monkeys and eagles. Views were spectacular and the weather was great.

The organization of the trek was immaculate. All transfers (Kathmandu airport – Hotel – Pokhara– Kathmandu Hotel – airport) were perfectly organized. In addition, both the guide and porter did a great job. They were very flexible and always agreed when we wanted to change the program. This allowed us to reach the ABC two days earlier than planned and gave us more time to visit additional places when going down. We also paid a visit to hot springs which was very nice. In sum, we recommend Gold Mountain Nepal Treks & Expedition as a reliable trekking agency which is very eager to comply with the customers’ wishes.

Best regards,

Werner and Heidi
