Mount Kailash Tour

Mount Kailash Tour is a spectacular and an ideal kind of tour in Tibet. In the western part of the Tibetan plateau, there lies two of the most demanded destinations, Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. These are among the most isolated places among tourism areas in Tibet. Exploring around these two reputed sites becomes real interesting if you know what we mean.

You get access to these sites after four days of long journey by bus across the large Tibetan plateau. Upon arrival, we gain outstanding views of the Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash at the background. Highly attracting, you feel as if you were hallucinating. Go for this trip and make this boring holiday of yours an interesting one. Previous explorers bet that future visitors would have seen no places as this.

For Hindu people, Mount Kailash is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Both of the Mountain and the Lake have religious significance to Hindu and Buddhist religions. Mount Kailash stands with a reputed personality and an altitude of 6,714 meters. During the tour, we enjoy such kinds of views including those of the remote regions of Tibet and the beautiful geographical land formation.

Great Experience of My Everest Kalapathar and Island Peak Trek

Mr Bishnu Pokhrel from Gold Mountain Nepal Treks organized for me a very nice trek around the Sagarmatha National Park on September 2014.

I spent 17 days in the Khumbu region with a guide and full lodge accommodation. my itinerary was defined by me and the company provided an English Speaking local guide. We went from Lukla to Gokyo Ri, crossed the Cho La Pass in deep Winter conditions, continued the trekking up to Khumbu Glacier and Kala Pathar and finally discovered a precious glacier valley in the East of Sagarmatha, the Imja Kosi, until Chukkung and the Imja Tsé (Island Peak) base camp, where the organization set a campsite with tents and kitchen for the climbing of this 6000 m trekking peak.

All food and lodges perfectly matched my expectations.

Gold Mountain Nepal also provided me the needed technical gear for climbing the Island Peak, including an experienced climbing guide, plastic boots and high altitude sleeping bag.

Tim's card for trekking in the National Park, SPCC Climbing permit for Imja Tsé and the plane tickets from Katmandú to Lukla (round trip) were also issued by the company.

Gold Mountain Nepal Treks also picked me at the international Airport, booked from me hotel in the city and organized a sightseeing tour with personal guide around Kathmandu before my trek and a farewell dinner before my return.

I really appreciate the work done by Gold Mountain Nepal Treks and I recommend you to book your trek to them. They are responsible and efficient, and have very good prices too.
